positions of “Project Fellow/Senior Project Fellow/Research Associate/Project Officer/Project Assistant” under various ongoing time
targeted projects/sponsored projects as under:

(1) Project Fellow (1 Post),Pay : Rs.16000+HRA

• Education Qualification : M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics with minimum 55% marks; with CSIR- National Eligibility Test 

• (NET) qualified OR B.E. / B.Tech. in Materials Science/ Metallurgical Engg./ Mechanical Engg. with 
• valid GATE score
• Age Limit : 28

(2) Senior Project Fellow (1 Post),Pay : Rs.18000+HRA

• Education Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech. in Materials Science/ Metallurgical Engg./ Mechanical Engg., with minimum 55% 
• marks and two years post B.E./B.Tech. research experience plus one publication in SCI Journal OR
• M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics with minimum 55% marks and two years post M.Sc. research 
• experience plus one publication in SCI Journal OR M.E./M.Tech. in Materials Science/ Metallurgical 
• Engg./ Mechanical Engg. with at least 60% marks.

(3) Senior Project Fellow (1 Post),Pay : Rs.18000+HRA

• Education Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech. in Materials Science/ Metallurgical Engg./ Mechanical Engg., with minimum 55% 
• marks and two years post B.E./B.Tech. research experience plus one publication in SCI Journal OR
• M.E./M.Tech. in Materials Science/ Metallurgical Engg./ Mechanical Engg. with at least 60% marks.

(4) Project Fellow (1 Post),Pay : Rs.16000+HRA

• Education Qualification : M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics with minimum 55% marks; with CSIR- National Eligibility Test

(5) Senior Project Fellow (1 Post),Pay :Rs.18000+HRA and/or RA/Rs. 22000 + HRA

• Education Qualification : M.Sc. in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry with minimum 55% marks and two years post 
• M.Sc. research experience plus one publication in SCI Journal and/or Ph.D. in Chemistry/Applied 
• Chemistry/Bio Chemistry with one research publication in SCI Journal
• Age Limit : Age: 32 years for SPF & 35 years for RA

(6) Senior Project Fellow (1 Post), Pay : Rs.18000(consolidated)

• Education Qualification : M. Tech./M.E. in Civil Engg., minimum 60% marks OR M.Sc. in Chemistry/Appl. Chemistry, 
• minimum 55% marks with two years experience OR B.E./B. Tech. in Civil Engg., minimum 60% 
• marks with two years experience.

(7) Project Officer (1 Post),Pay : Rs. 20000 (consolidated)

• Education Qualification : B.E. /B. Tech. in Information Technology/Computer Science with minimum 60% marks and two years 
• of working experience.

(8) Project Officer(1 Post),Pay :Rs.20000 (consolidated)

• Education Qualification : MA in Economics (Regional Planning and Economic Growth background)/ MA in Sociology/MA in 
• Rural Development/ Master in Social Work minimum 60% marks with two years of working 
• experience. 
• Age: 32 years

(9) Project Assistant Level II(1 Post),Pay :Rs.13000 (consolidated)

• Education Qualification : M. Sc. Geo-informatics/ BE Information Technology with minimum 60% marks. 
• Age: 28 years

(10)Project AssistantLevel II (1 Post) ,Pay :Rs.13000 (consolidated)

• Education Qualification : M. Sc. Geology with minimum 60% marks. 
• Age: 28 years

• Education Qualification : MBA with minimum 60% marks.

How To Apply : Eligible candidates may appear together with downloaded application form duly filled-up, for “Floating (Walk-in) Interview” on the dates as mentioned above between 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM (candidate will not be entertained after 10.00 AM under any circumstances) in the Auditorium of the Institute, with complete application (Bio-data) on plain paper giving the full details inclusive of marks starting from secondary examination onwards alongwith latest passport size photograph, original and attested copies of all certificates/testimonials. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH should bring copies of certificates in the proper format issued by appropriate authority as per the latest instructions issued from time to time on the subject. Number of positions may increase based on requirement at the time of interview.
